Can the watermark be removed?

Not by clicking it. It is drawn into the page rather than added as an annotation, which readers can delete outright. Anyone determined enough can edit any PDF, but this survives ordinary use.

Will it cover my text?

It is drawn semi-transparent, so the page stays readable. You choose the strength.

Does Doclium add its own watermark?

No. The only text on your document is yours.
